Forth Gateway Project Group has been developing environmental projects in the countryside around Forth since 2002. The Group is delighted to announce it has secured funding to undertake a woodcarving project which will create a series of benches for the community. The project will begin in October under the direction of professional tutor Susheila Jamieson. Design sessions to develop ideas will be followed by a series of skills workshops to create decorated wooden benches.
Forth Gateway Project Group is grateful for the support of the Developing Local Communities Fund whose funding partners, The Renewable Energy Fund and UK Steel Enterprise Ltd, will finance this project.
