The Haven Centre (Forth) was opened in 2017 to provide care, complementary therapies and information to people affected by life limiting illness such as Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Huntington’s Disease and also to their carers and family members.
They strive to give the highest standard of care to everyone affected by life-limiting illness and work closely with other organisations to achieve this.
They try to make visitors feel welcome. With a comfortable lounge and kitchen area where they can relax and chat, or simply have a cup of tea or coffee. There is also a 'quiet room' where visitors can have a discussion in private with nurse or volunteers.
Volunteers are a very important part of the service and are always pleased to welcome new and returning visitors. This building replaced The Little Haven which was also on Manse Road, Forth
